| Information about the Ornate Diamondback Terrapin:Ornate Diamondback Terrapins are a medium sized turtle native to brackish coastal swamps of the eastern and southern US. It ranges from Massachusetts to Florida. This turtle gets it's name from the intricate diamond pattern on the top of it's shell. It is a carnivore, feeding mainly on mollusks, crabs and small fish. The terrapin can crush tough shells due to the bony plates they have on their upper and lower mandibles. FREE SHIPPING IN THE US! |
