| Information about the Panther Chameleon:The Panther Chameleon is native to the tropical forests of Madagascar. They can grow up to 20 inches, although females are generally smaller and less colorful. They are very popular as pets. Contrary to popular belief chameleons cannot change their colors to match their surroundings. They can change and do alter their coloration, but it has more to do with mood, temperature and lighting.
