Artist's notes:
 The
Banded Knob-tailed gecko was the 2nd piece of art commissioned
by my gecko breeding friend Roman. He has hired other artists
to create customized knob-tailed gecko art for him, which
includes other drawings and even an sculpture.

Information about the Banded Knob-Tailed
Gecko:
The Banded Knob tailed gecko is part of the Nephrurus
genus of geckos. This genus includes eleven different species
of lizards. They are share a similar body type including
a large head, short legs and body and a very distinctive
fat tail that often ends in a small knob. These reptiles
are native to the desert and bush areas of the central part
of Australia. These exotic animals are highly prized by
reptile enthusiasts are are often imported and breed for
the pet trade.
