Artist's notes:
Perhaps
this is my best known frog - if I could call it such. The
drawing is based on a photo by my friend Pete Carmichael,
who is one of the most talented and friendly gents I know.
These frogs are simply amazing and I hope to one day travel
to the Asian rainforest to see them in action.

Information about the Wallace's Flying
Tree Frog:
Wallace's Flying Frog was named for the 19th-century
naturalist Alfred Russel Wallace, who first described the
species in 1869. It is a small frog of about 4 inches with
distinctly large eyes. This frog is arboreal with specialized
toepads that allow them to adhere to vertical surfaces.
In addition to toepads flying frogs have huge, fully webbed
hands and feet, also skin along the side of the body.
