Artist's notes:
This
drawing is based on a photo by William Flaxington. This
was one of my earliest frog drawings and still one of my
favorites. The Pacific Tree Frogs amaze me with their color
variations - which makes me think I should perhaps do another
morph - maybe a green one?

Information about the Pacific Tree Frog:
The Pacific Tree Frog or Pacific Chorus Frog is a common
species ranging from southern British Columbia in Canada
down through Baja California. They can be found as far east
as Montana. These frogs inhabit a variety of habitats including
ponds, streams and lakes but can also sometimes be found
in forests and grassy meadows. It is the state amphibian
of Washington.
