 The
Siberian Tiger might be the most beautiful of the 'big cats.'
There are about 5-8 subspecies of Panthera tigris living
today, and I've love to illustrate them all (Bengal
and Sumatran are already
complete. The silent power of the gaze of this tiger is
simply mesmerizing.

Information about the Siberian Tiger:
The Siberian or Amur Tiger is a rare and critically endangered
subspecies of tiger. Almost all wild Siberian tigers live
the Amur region in the Southeast corner of Russia. They
are the largest of the tiger species and can grow up to
13 feet in length and weigh up to 700 lbs. The Siberian
tiger preys primarily on wild boar and red deer, which make
up 65-90% of its diet.
